Thank you, thank you, thank you is what is often said,
But, in my heart, there abides so much more I want to express.
Merely telling you “Thank You” is so very insufficient.
My heart, my mind, my soul, have exponentially more to express.
You deserve to hear so very much more that.
Merely telling you “Thank You” is so very insufficient.
Hurts you’ve healed, hopes you’ve restored,
Safety, security, and contentment you’ve provided.
You deserve more than a thousand litanies of heartfelt words.
Merely telling you “Thank You” is so very insufficient.
If I began right now to speak the gratitude that’s in my heart
At the end of eternity, I would still have so much, much more to say.
“Thank You” is what I offer you right now but,
Merely telling you “Thank You” is so very insufficient.
“THANK YOU, JESUS!”
