I’ve always been one to stand out in a crowd. Not because I’m beautiful or tall or loud or all that interesting, but because I’m fat. At times, I’ve been the widest person in the room.

It’s frustrating when something doesn’t work – especially something as personal as weight loss. There’s nothing more heartbreaking than doing everything you know that is “right” and then seeing no progress on the scale. But it doesn’t have to be that way.
