Some physically challenged persons have taken the bull by the horn to chart a noble cause for themselves and the society. This is true in many parts of the world.

Learning to live with the unexpected onset of a disability or chronic illness is a challenge.  I lost all hearing in my left ear at the beginning of 2005. Combined with the thunderously loud tinnitus, I felt as though my head was submerged in deep water. I was forced to rely upon my right ear, my ‘bad ear.’

Vikram Agnihotri 45, was an active child prior to losing his arms in a ghastly high voltage wire accident. He was just 7 years old. His predicament did not put a hold on his life. Agnihotri uses his feet to shave and drive. His nose to operate his phone and his shoulders to swim, gym and play tennis.
