A new month is another opportunity to thank God for life and place what lies ahead in His hands. As we enter October, we may be carrying expectations, responsibilities, unanswered prayers, or hopes for a fresh beginning.
Whatever the last month brought, we can move forward trusting that God is with us. Let us commit October to Him and ask for His wisdom, strength, protection, provision, and grace.
Scriptures for the Month of October
Isaiah 41:10: “Do not fear: I am with you; do not be anxious: I am your God. I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my victorious right hand.”
Joshua 1:9: “I command you: be strong and steadfast! Do not fear nor be dismayed, for the Lord, your God, is with you wherever you go.”
Philippians 4:13: “I have the strength for everything through him who empowers me.”
Isaiah 43:2: “When you pass through waters, I will be with you; through rivers, you shall not be swept away. When you walk through fire, you shall not be burned, nor will flames consume you.”
Psalm 121:7 to 8: “The Lord will guard you from all evil; he will guard your soul. The Lord will guard your coming and going both now and forever.”
Father, thank You for the privilege of seeing another month. Thank You for Your faithfulness, mercy, and grace. I commit October into Your hands and trust You with all that lies ahead.
This Month of October, I Declare by Faith:
The Lord will order my steps and give me wisdom to make the right decisions. I will not be led by fear, pressure, or confusion.
The work of my hands will be blessed. He will give me discipline, creativity, and a spirit of excellence to use my gifts and opportunities wisely.
Procrastination is not my portion. I will begin what needs to be started and have the discipline to finish what matters.
My God will supply all my needs according to His riches in glory through Christ Jesus. I will trust Him while using what He has given me wisely.
The Lord will strengthen my body and renew my mind. I pray for healing where healing is needed and strength where there is weakness.
God will watch over me and my household. He will preserve our going out and coming in and keep us from evil and dangers seen and unseen.
I will not be overcome by discouragement, but will keep moving forward even when progress seems slow.
I will not allow worry to rule my heart. I will bring my concerns to God in prayer and trust Him with what I cannot control.
The Holy Spirit will guide me into truth and give me discernment. I will recognize what is right for me and have the courage to walk away from what is not.
God’s favor will rest on my life. I pray that the right opportunities, relationships, and connections come at the right time according to His perfect will for me.
I will not give up on prayers that remain unanswered. I know that God hears me, and I place the outcome and timing in His hands.
My past will not determine my future. God will give me wisdom to learn from what has happened and grace to move forward without carrying unnecessary regret.
Peace will reign in my heart and home. I will choose patience, wisdom, forgiveness, and healthy boundaries in my relationships.
I will use my time wisely. Distractions will not steal the attention I need to give to my faith, family, responsibilities, and purpose.
I commit my plans and expectations to the Lord. Whatever October brings, I will remember that God is with me, and His grace will be sufficient for each day.
Thank You, Father, for hearing my prayers. I place this month in Your hands and trust You to lead me through it, in Jesus’ name.
A Declaration Over You
May God direct your steps, strengthen your faith, and give you grace each day this month to see His hand at work in expected and unexpected ways.
