To many people, God is no more than a visitor in their homes, a passenger in their car, and a spectator in the affairs of their lives. Rather than run to God in their time of need, their first port of call is usually the ears of a fellow man. This explains why many crash with reckless abandon in the journey of life. The bottom line is, if you treat God like a guest, a spectator, or a passenger and expect to have it great at all times, you are definitely in for a shock!
I pray that as you begin wrapping the year 2020, you will give God the Chairman’s seat in the cabinet of your life. I assure you that in so doing, you will arrive at the favorable destination He has already ordained for you. If you have not given Him this opportunity in years past, try it and watch the remarkable difference letting go and letting God creates.
As you honor, fear, and trust the Lord the remaining days of this turbulent year 2020, His unfailing grace will do a remarkable thing in your life, in the name of Jesus. By the special grace of God, we will all see the end of 2020 in unsurpassed peace, in Jesus’ name.
Prayer points:
Thank You, Almighty God, for seeing us through January to December 2020.
Thank You for life, the greatest gift of all, good health both of mind and body, your grace that is more than sufficient for us, your mercy that endures forever, and your peace that surpasses all understanding.
Thank You Lord, for being our might and the beginning of our strength, the excellency of our dignity, and the excellency of our power in 2020.
Thank you for a year of unmerited favor, survival and a year of unimaginable grace.
Father, please hear my prayer and give ear unto my cry; hold not your peace at my tears.
Father, help me so I do not suffer instability but excel in all areas according to your will for me.
Father, anoint me with the oil of gladness; let my mouth be full of laughter and my tongue with singing.
Father, please help me to live as the salt of the earth–let my life impact others and let my lifestyle be the Bible unbelievers around me are reading.
Father, bless and preserve me as I come in and go out during these last days of 2020. Let the enemies that rise up against me be defeated before me.
Father, grant me the grace to adopt the right strategy for every situation and to be at the right place at the right time.
Father, bless me with uncommon ideas that will position me for 2021.
Father, demonstrate your power in my life and let it be made perfect in my weakness, in Jesus’ name.
I PRAY this Month of December 2020:
My body will not be a habitation for sickness and disease but will remain the temple of the most high God.
My feet shall be guarded, strengthened, and anointed for speed.
As the Lord was with Moses, so He will be with me during the remaining days of this year.
The Lord shall satisfy me with strength from the beginning to the end of this month; my strength shall not dissipate, and my horn shall be exalted.
From the rising of the sun even unto the going down of the same, the name of the Lord will remain a strong tower in my life.
When I call upon the Lord, He will answer me according to His will; He will be my ever-present help in the time of trouble; He will send me help from His sanctuary; He will defend, deliver, and honor me.
The Lord will go before me and make every crooked place in my life straight. He will level all the mountains, break down the gates of bronze, and cut through the bars of iron.
I will be a person of big faith, and the Lord will bless me with unsurpassed wisdom.
I will remain strong and courageous: I will not be terrified; I will not be discouraged, for the Lord my God will be with me wherever I go this month.
As I trust in the Lord steadfastly, I will be like Mount Zion which cannot be shaken but endures forever–as the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord will surround me, my family, my business, and my ministry.
I will reach the needy and the lost and use any given opportunity to help as many people as possible.
I will make a conscious effort to love the Lord my God with all my heart and love my neighbor as myself, in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen!
Anything in my life that has been attracting sin will be exposed and destroyed, in Jesus mighty name.
Intercession
Father, please remember the brokenhearted. Comfort and grant them your peace that surpasses all understanding, in Jesus’ name.
Father, please banish Coronavirus from the world. We are all tired. Let there be no more deaths and uncertainty. Let the vaccines make a huge difference as your grace remains sufficient for us, in Jesus’ name.
We pray the souls of the faithfully departed rest in perfect peace, in Jesus’ name.
